About Corgi
- AI-powered insurance company designed for tech startups
- $108M raised in funding
- Regulatory approval as a licensed carrier
- Currently scaling the London office and establishing new entities across the EU and UK
The Role
- Directly support the VP of Operations and senior team members
- Broad mandate: execute ad-hoc generalist tasks across the startup, new entities, and all operational needs to rapidly scale the London office and EU expansion
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Organisation and administration, with a current focus on EU expansion operations
- Ad-hoc generalist execution across the startup and new entities
- Take ownership of tasks and close your own loops; escalate only when truly blocked
- Handle whatever is required for the office and expansion efforts
What We Are Looking For
- Hungry, high-energy individual willing to work hard at startup pace
- Low ego; open to all types of work and responsibilities
- Comfortable handling varied tasks without a set playbook
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Strong communicator who shares information openly (no siloed communication)
- Motivated by a desire to prove yourself through results, not just for resume-building
How We Work
- Fast-paced decision-making; action is valued over perfection
- High intensity during busy periods, with sustained effort even during quieter times
- Expectation to bring solutions along with problems
- Internal competition is encouraged; strong performers raise the standard
- This is a role for builders, not for those seeking an easy ride
Behaviours That Lead to Quick Removal
- Engaging in office politics, blame-shifting, or gossip
- Taking direct feedback personally instead of constructively
- Creating unnecessary overhead rather than streamlining processes
- Failing to follow through promptly after committing to deadlines
Additional Details
- London-based position; on-site or hybrid work arrangements available
- Heavy focus on EU/UK expansion
- Compensation: £55,000 to £90,000 base salary plus equity (wide range to reward ownership and follow-through, not just experience)
