Job Description

Reports to the VP of Erath County Center. The major duties and responsibilities include:

Serving as receptionist and/or assistant.

Greeting visitors.

Furnishing information about the College and their appropriate department to prospects, students, and visitors.

Providing secretarial support and assistance as needed.

Taking student payments and creating daily deposits.

Issues student ID’s, badges, and sets up banking for loan disbursements.

Assists with signing students up for TSI testing and finals.

Assists with proctoring tests and finals.

Receiving and distributing mail.

Maintaining and purging filing correspondence.

Creating and typing reports, and forms as needed.

Assisting other office personnel in meeting deadlines for projects for which they have the prime responsibility.

Perform other duties as assigned.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate degree, preferably in an IT or educational focus.

Experience: At least 2 years work-related experience

Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or other Requirement: None

ANNUAL SALARY/BENEFITS: Highly competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials. Group health and life insurance (60 day waiting period for health) and retirement benefits (TRS or ORP). Optional benefits include vision, disability and dental insurance.
