Position Overview

Madera Hospital is seeking a General Surgeon who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join our expanding surgical team. This role offers the opportunity to serve a busy and growing patient population while playing a key part in strengthening.  access to surgical care across Madera County.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality general surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Participate in our Acute Care Surgery program serving Madera County and surrounding rural communities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and hospital initiatives

Take part in shared call coverage as needed

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery

California medical licenseytroyuh (or eligibility)

Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Bilingual preferred
