General Service Technician

Position Summary

Kenneth’s Car Care is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance and basic repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements
• Inspect vehicles and identify potential issues or safety concerns
• Complete basic repairs such as battery replacements, wiper blades, and light bulbs
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry best practices
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs as needed
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive certification (ASE or equivalent) is an asset
• Experience using shop management systems or digital inspection tools
• Customer service experience

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous automotive experience is an asset but not required (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
