SWOT Hospitality Management Company is excited to announce an opening for the position of General Manager at the prestigious Porto Carras resort. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel while ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest services and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Porto Carras, encompassing all hotel's departments
• Develop and execute business strategies to optimise the financial performance of the hotel while aligning with corporate goals.
• Lead the management team and ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing issues promptly and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L reports, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Foster a culture of excellence among staff members through training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, owners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards as well as company policies.
• Engage with the local community to promote the resort and its services.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate:
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
• Has a 5 years of management experience in the hospitality sector, with a proven track record in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Possesses excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Demonstrates strong financial and operational acumen with solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Exhibits outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with guests and employees alike.
• Is proficient in multiple languages (English and Greek preferred).
• Has a deep understanding of hospitality trends and customer preferences.
• Is detail-oriented, with a commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Shows flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
