Our haulage business provides truck haulage services to major customers across Nigeria. It is under pressure to grow very rapidly in response to expansion in business volume and geography of our customer.We are therefore planning a transformation of the scale and capability of the business to meet higher levels of performance expected by current and prospective customers.
We are in search of Experienced automobile engineer with Business Management experience acquired from a career that has spanned the technical side-workshop operations and fleet maintenance to marketing and corporate management in the haulage business. Such experience should preferably include some years in Nigeria. However experience of a Nigerian or Expatriate entirely outside Nigeria with large top rated haulage enterprise will be considered.
The suitable candidate will be a qualified Automobile or Mechanical Engineer. An additional business, management or professional qualification such as an MBA or membership of recognized transport and logistics professional bodies would be an advantage
The quality and years of experience in haulage industry for a suitable candidate is likely to be at least 10 years in one or more top class haulage enterprise.
Previous experience in a turn-around or transformation project of a haulage business will compensate for the number of years expected from suitable candidates.
