General Manager (Food Factory)

We are recruiting on behalf of Delta Food Factory: 

Delta Modern Food Factory, located in the heart of Dammam's 2nd Industrial City, specializes in manufacturing a variety of high-quality bakery food products including bread, sambosa, spring rolls, and more. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Food Factory Manager with strong financial acumen to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our factory, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and financial management skills, as well as a deep understanding of food manufacturing and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the food factory to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
• Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain product standards and comply with food safety regulations.
• Lead and develop a team of production staff, providing training and support to enhance skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished products, to minimize waste and optimize production efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to streamline operations and achieve business objectives.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and optimize factory equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and manage the factory budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
• Analyze financial reports and production costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and increased profitability.
• Prepare financial forecasts and performance reports for senior management review.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of food production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve production efficiency.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management and financial software tools.
