We are seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our morning shift team. This role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the plant.

Responsibilities:

Assist maintenance technicians with installation, repair, and servicing of industrial equipment and HVAC manufacturing machinery

Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment

Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition

Assist in facility maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs

Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations (including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures)

Transport tools, parts, and materials as required

Document completed work and report issues to supervisors

Support inventory management by tracking parts and supplies

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is an asset

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand/power tools

Willingness to learn industrial HVAC systems and maintenance practices

CSA Approved steel toe safety footwear

Afternoon Shift:

Morning Shift; Monday – Thursday, 6am – 3:30pm & Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
