General Ledger (GL) Senior Accountant

About the unit
The Finance Unit monitors the Company's financial health in order to increase profitability in the long run. The Unit supports the operations of the biusiness through managing all financial processes and decisions such as Accounting Operations, Compliance, Treasury, Credit, Tax and Reporting.

The General Ledger Senior Associate is responsible on ensuring the balance sheet schedules are reconciled and responsible on processing GL transactions including but not limited to fixed asset transactions, accruals, recharges, prepayments/amortization, other month-end activities, preparation of audit requirements. He/She is required to apply appropriate internal controls in compliance to company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications: :
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a CPA.
• With at least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possess a strong knowledge with PFRS.
• Meticulous, pay attention to details and results oriented;
• Ability to work independently and handles multiple tasks well, in a fast paced, professional environment;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and high volume transactions.
• Good knowledge with excel and knowledge of Netsuite is preferred.
