About the role

In this role, you'll be closely involved in monthly and annual closings and ensure the accuracy of our financial data across various general ledger accounts. Your eye for detail and process improvement will be essential in enhancing our internal controls and audit readiness.

About your tasks:

• Ensure accurate financial records by preparing journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing supporting documentation for balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Take ownership of the fixed assets register, serving as the primary point of contact for updates, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Analyze general ledger accounts to validate journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations by maintaining timely and accurate reporting.
• Provide essential support to the Senior General Ledger Accountant in daily operations and financial processes.
• Manage discount invoices efficiently, ensuring accurate preparation and timely follow-up.

About you

• You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, equipping you with a strong foundation in financial principles.
• You have at least one year of experience in a finance-related role within an international company, giving you exposure to cross-border financial operations.
• You are comfortable working with ERP systems and financial software, ideally in an e-commerce environment where agility and accuracy are key.
• A tech-savvy mindset comes naturally to you—you’re confident navigating multiple systems and tools to optimize efficiency.
• You have excellent English communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively in a global team. Since many of our colleagues speak German, proficiency in German would be a plus.
