Join our team as a motivated and enthusiastic General Ledger Accountant Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting procure-to-pay and core accounting processes. The Role

This is a 6-month paid internship, ideally full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday), and office-based in Sofia. We’re looking for interns who can be fully present and engaged with the team on-site.

There is potential to extend the internship for an additional 6 months, and importantly, interns graduating this year may be offered a permanent contract based on performance and business needs. Our goal is to invest in talent who want to grow long-term with us.

While the role is full-time, we are open to considering a 6-hour workday arrangement in certain cases.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in automation and new business projects, including automation of intercompany invoicing

• Support team members with document management activities

• Verify and process inventory-related and fixed asset vendor invoices

• Issue and book intercompany invoices

• Perform calculations in Excel under the guidance of senior team members

• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders

• Provide supporting documentation and reports for audits

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to support business needs

You’d Be Great for This Role If You:

• Are a final-year student, ideally graduating this year, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Are fluent in English and Bulgarian (written and spoken)

• Have strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

• Have previous ERP experience (a plus)

• Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Are a proactive team player who can collaborate across all levels

• Are driven, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Have the right to work as an intern in Bulgaria and are able to work on-site in Sofia daily
