Who Is Tire Hotel?
Tire Hotel Inc. is a seasonal Tire Storage and logistics provider supporting automotive dealerships across Southern Ontario. We specialize in the secure storage, delivery, and retrieval of seasonal tires, operating from our temperature-controlled warehouse in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Our team works closely with dealership partners throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Oshawa, Ajax, Barrie, Kitchener, and London to ensure tires are transported and stored safely and efficiently during peak seasonal periods.
Job Description:
The General Labourer will work as part of a team in our climate-controlled warehouse. Tire Hotel is a tire storage facility where employees support the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead with the down-stacking, staging, and up-stacking of tire sets as part of daily warehouse operations.
Daily tasks include using an upright tire dolly to remove stacks of tires (up to six tires high) from pallets to the floor and scanning tire labels to ensure accurate inventory tracking. The role also involves loading and unloading trucks of tires using an upright dolly, with up to approximately 50 sets per truck, and stacking sets of tires up to six high onto pallets for storage and organization within the warehouse.
This role is physically demanding and requires frequent moving, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 70 lbs throughout the shift. Employees are expected to maintain a productive work pace, follow established procedures to ensure inventory accuracy, and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols. Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed.
Experience & Requirements:
Loading and Offloading trucks using tire dollies (preferred but not required).
Safety Boots (Required).
Order picker license (preferred by not required).
Ability to safely lift 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
Must be able to perform standing, squatting, walking, and lifting to 70 lbs.
Ability to learn and receive feedback from management and experienced peers.
Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.
Ability to maintain a safe work environment and practice safety protocols.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular job attendance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Work Monday to Friday
Afternoon offloading shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Overnight loading shift - 12:00 am to 8:30 am
Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Contract Length: 10 - 12 weeks
