We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario, from Monday-Friday starting at 6:00-8:00AM. As a labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.
What you’re responsible for:
• Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals
• Weighing and tracking the material using the RECY system
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assisting with torch cutting when necessary
• Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using a forklift
• General maintenance and tidying in and around your work area
To join our team:
• You have previous experience operating a forklift
• You have previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment
• You are comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• You are physical fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
• You are able to work well in a team and on your own
