We are looking for a reliable General Labourer/Handyman Contract (Up to 6 Months) to perform essential minor repair and upkeep tasks throughout our residential sites. In this position you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and maintenance upkeeping to ensure that our residences are safely operational, tidy and functional.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Perform general labour duties including unloading deliveries/materials from trucks and place them at the proper location on site.
Assist with basic handyman tasks (repairs, maintenance, minor renovations)
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor plumbing or electrical work (as applicable)
Ensure the workspace/property is clean, safe, and organized.
Follow instructions and safety procedures
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and standards.
Job Requirements:
1-2 years' experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
Valid "G" License and a reliable vehicle.
Minimum Ontario High School Diploma.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
40 hours a week
