The General Laborer position at Bonfe Underground is dedicated to assisting the Excavation crew with various labor tasks to ensure efficient project completion. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe work environment and facilitating effective communication within the team. The General Laborer will report directly to the Excavation Supervisor and will play a crucial role in supporting daily excavation operations.

What You Can Expect:

$28-32/hr. STARTING WAGE

What You’ll Do:

Assist the Excavation crew with manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and operating basic hand tools and machinery as directed.

Operate excavation equipment and tools, including jetters and camera inspection systems.

Maintain high standards of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.

Support the team in organizing and preparing the worksite to ensure that it is ready for necessary excavation activities.

Participate in regular 1:1 and L10 meetings with team members to foster open communication and address any challenges.

Collaborate with the Excavation Supervisor to promptly address any issues or concerns that arise during the course of work to prevent delays.

Help maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and are in good working condition.

What You Bring:

Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Valid CDL – no exceptions.

Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Dependable, safety-first mindset and problem-solving ability.

Attention to detail with a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
