General Laborer
Reports To: Foreman / Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
We’re looking for dependable people to help with dirt work, site prep, and excavation jobs. This is entry level — you don’t need experience. We’ll train you. If you’re willing to work hard, show up on time, and work safely, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Help get job sites ready for work
Dig, shovel, rake, and move dirt and materials
Load and unload tools, pipes, and equipment
Help clean up and keep the job site safe and organized
Assist equipment operators when needed (spotting, hand signals, etc.)
Set up and take down job site barriers and erosion control
Follow safety rules and wear required safety gear
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment
Do what the foreman asks to help the crew get the job done
What We’re Looking For
Prior construction, excavation, or site prep experience is a plus but not required — we train
Reliable and on time every day
Willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
Ability to follow directions and be a team player
Safety-minded and willing to learn
Great attitude, proactive, and ability to meet deadlines is a MUST
Physical Requirements
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable doing physical work all day
Able to bend, kneel, walk, and work on uneven ground
Able to stand for long periods throughout the day
Work Environment
Outdoor dirt and excavation job sites
Around heavy equipment, noise, dust, and weather
Pay & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Overtime available depending on workload and seasonality
