We are currently seeking qualified applicants for our rebar fabricator position at our Des Moines, IA location. As a member of our fabrication team, you will contribute to the timely production of high-quality rebar products used in construction projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery to cut and bend rebar material to specified dimensions.
Ensure products are fabricated to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
Operate material-handling equipment to move rebar materials efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Assist other team members with shop-related tasks and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with a variety of general shop tools.
Proficient in reading and interpreting measurements using a tape measure.
High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Must have reliable transportation.
This is a safety-sensitive position; applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay: $40,000 - $50,000 per year.
