Ballad offers a 4 to 21-week program focused on equipping participants with workplace essentials skills for success with a focus on the construction industry. Our program leads to industry standard certifications, resume building and upgrading workplace essential skills specific to a job placement that will send you on a path to success.

Job Description:

As an ESTS Trainee, you will engage in a unique and flexible program which combines occupational skills training, workplace essential skill development and potential for workplace training experience. This program is designed to prepare for roles such as:

Labourer (General Construction)

Production Tech

Tire Technician

Truck Driver

Painter

General Operator

…and much much more!

Qualifications:

Unemployed and collecting regular EI benefits or on income support

Looking to upgrade skill set

Transfer current skills to a new job

Committed to completing a program designed for your success

Located in the Whitecourt, Grande Prairie or Northwest Alberta
