We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Assistant to join our team in Plymouth, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service across various departments.

• Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing their needs and requests efficiently
• Serve food and beverages in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and safe working environment
• Assist in various operational tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
• Comply with health and safety regulations, as well as specific food service guidelines
• Support team members during busy periods, showcasing strong teamwork skills
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Contribute to the overall organisation and efficiency of daily operations

• Genuine passion for customer service and/or food industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Adaptable and solution-oriented approach to challenges and opportunities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (desirable)
• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in the food service industry (preferred)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required
