This is a generic job description for any role. All positions at RushShelby Energy require the below, at minimum. Each position will require additional responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or physical demands. Upon application to a specific position/role, each candidate will be made aware of those additional requirements.

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite and OneDrive, in addition to being willing to learn other software, as required

Must be self-motivated and have the desire to continually improve the overall reliability and integrity of RushShelby Energy’s infrastructure

Must have the physical ability to work inside an office environment and sit at a desk to handle various computer work

Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify, anticipate and resolve problems

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute and collaborate in a group setting

Must possess strong customer service skills

Must be able to work autonomously with little supervision

Must be organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and timelines simultaneously

Must project a positive public image and maintain satisfactory public relations by responding to consumer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Must have ability to work effectively in a changing environment

Must have ability and willingness to work overtime as needed and/or required

Must be able and willing to attend meetings, training, conferences that may require travel and/or overnight stays

Must have willingness to relocate to and permanently reside in a predefined limit from RSE headquarters

Must always represent the Cooperative with professionalism, including but not limited to during all member and community interactions, while driving a company vehicle, while wearing company logoed apparel

Must have personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the seven cooperative principles and the mission of RushShelby Energy
