Position Title: General Accountant

Location: 100% Remote Work/ Work-from-home

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant with experience in Salesforce, QuickBooks, and Stripe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client onboarding for QuickBooks, daily reconciliation of Stripe transactions, and ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and bookkeeping. Knowledge of US GAAP and experience in SaaS and real estate are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Onboarding for QuickBooks:

• Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client requirements and ensure a smooth transition to QuickBooks.
• Set up new clients in QuickBooks, including configuring accounts, preferences, and initial balances.
• Provide training and support to clients on QuickBooks usage as needed.

• Daily Reconciliation of Stripe Transactions:
• Reconcile daily transactions from Stripe with internal records to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between Stripe transactions and company accounts.
• Generate and review reports on Stripe transactions for financial accuracy.

• Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Manage and monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with clients for timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions and aging reports.

• Accounts Payable (AP):
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper authorization and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner.
• Reconcile AP accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

• Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions.
• Record and categorize financial transactions, including bank deposits, withdrawals, and expenses.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.

• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP principles and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong understanding of AR, AP, and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, QuickBooks, and Stripe.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working in SaaS and/or real estate industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
