GCP Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer specialized in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join the Google Tech Hub at BIP. The selected candidate will design and deploy Machine Learning solutions for clients, ensuring high standards of performance, security, and data governance.

You will work in cloud environments with multidisciplinary teams (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects) on applied AI, Data Platforms, and MLOps projects, while actively contributing to innovation and the development of new solutions.

What Will Your Challenge Be?

Join Google tech-hub in BIP, working vertically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specialized in consulting and innovative services in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Data, and Martech.

The AI Engineer designs scalable Machine Learning (ML) software solutions for client use cases and industrializes them for production deployment, ensuring the required levels of performance, security, and governance.

The AI Engineer works closely with other BIP professionals, such as Cloud Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers, to deliver high-quality ML solutions in every aspect: designing and implementing team tools such as MLOps platforms, providing guidelines and best practices on data and AI architectures, supporting software implementation and AI observability capabilities, and more.

Beyond project delivery, AI Engineers are expected to actively contribute to the Community through research, scouting, new solution concepts, and business development initiatives. A proactive mindset and the ability to propose innovative ideas are essential. After internal co-evaluation, these ideas may be presented to our clients.

Are You Our Next Colleague? Key Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related STEM disciplines;
Proven experience using Google Cloud Platform;
At least 5 years of experience in software development in at least one language such as Python, Scala, Java, or similar;
Experience designing software solutions and implementing data structures and algorithms;
Experience with code repositories and CI/CD tools;
Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts, algorithms, and methodologies;
Experience with SQL for database design, querying, and management, including ETL activities;
Experience coordinating and mentoring one or more project teams, including pre-sales and delivery activities;
Fluent professional Spanish and English are required.
