ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed team within the telecommunications sector. The project focuses on designing and implementing a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Landing Zone, forming the foundation for secure, scalable, and automated cloud operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain GCP landing zones and associated infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and security standards

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to introduce Agile ways of working and standardized software development practices (Git, branching, design patterns, etc.)

• Ensure cloud infrastructure meets high standards for performance, reliability, and scalability

• Contribute to cloud governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer

• Extensive hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including architecture, networking, and security

• Strong programming and automation skills in Python and Terraform

• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices (Git workflows, design patterns)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry

• GCP certifications

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
