About the Opportunity
A well-established and highly respected general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead complex, high-impact construction projects across the Seattle market. This firm specializes in multifamily, commercial, tenant improvement, historic renovation, and mixed-use developments, with projects ranging up to $100M+.
This is a high-ownership role where you will run projects independently, not just support them. The organization values execution, accountability, and strong field leadership, not micromanagement or rigid structure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead full lifecycle field operations across 1–2 projects at a time (occasionally 3), primarily multifamily and large-scale TI work
Own the jobsite – safety, schedule, quality, and budget performance
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure seamless execution
Develop and maintain short-interval and CPM schedules
Serve as the primary on-site leader and client-facing representative
Drive jobsite safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company protocols
Oversee inspections, permitting coordination, and relationships with local authorities
Partner closely with project management on financial tracking, billing, and progress reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
Project Types You’ll Work On
Multifamily wood-frame (100–500 units, $130M+ projects)
High-rise residential conversions
Commercial tenant improvements ($70M–$100M range)
Historic renovations and large-scale local landmark projects
Mixed-use and modern construction builds
What They’re Looking For
10–15+ years of construction experience
8–10+ years in a Superintendent or field leadership role
Strong background in multifamily construction (required)
Proven ability to run projects independently without an Assistant Superintendent
Experience managing large-scale, complex builds ($50M+)
Solid knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and field operations
Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and MS Office
Preferred:
OSHA 30 Certification
LEED AP or sustainability exposure
