Job Title: Gastroenterologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of digestive diseases, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal conditions, including reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and colorectal conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and other GI interventions.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and pathology results.
• Provide inpatient consultative services and coordinate care with hospitalists and other specialists as needed.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing medical education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active medical license to practice in [State].
• Strong clinical and procedural skills in gastroenterology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills.
