Gaming Manager | Coolum Beach Hotel

Are you a gaming specialist ready to take the reins of one of the Sunshine Coast's premier rooms? The Coolum Beach Hotel is looking for a high-performing Gaming Manager who has the experience and the drive to lead a massive, high-volume operation.

This is a big room that requires a big personality. We need a leader who understands the mechanics of a successful gaming lounge, from machine performance and impeccable floor presentation to building genuine, long-term rapport with our local regulars. If you are a gaming pro who thrives in a fast-paced coastal environment and takes pride in running a "best-in-class" room, this is your next move.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
