Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on Gameplay Programmer, for our Slot Games Math Team to drive the backend development powering the mathematical models behind our innovative slot games. This role blends technical excellence, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure our systems are innovative, robust, scalable, and efficient. 

You’ll be part of a small team of backend developers, collaborating with them by setting high standards for code quality, refining tools and processes, and keeping our tech stack modern and effective. By partnering closely with mathematicians and game designers, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering world-class gaming experiences. 

In this position, you’ll not only build but also innovate the backend systems and game code that define how our games function. This is a senior technical role for one who thrives on solving complex challenges, inspires through action, and brings a passion for innovation to every project.

Your Mission 

• Develop and maintain backend systems for the mathematical models behind our slot games, staying closely involved in the action. 

• Drive technical excellence by defining consistent code standards, reviewing code, and ensuring robust documentation. 

• Enhance tools, processes, and infrastructure to support scalable and efficient development. 

• Collaborate closely with mathematicians, game designers, and frontend teams to align technical solutions with game design specifications. 

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our team ahead of the curve. 

• Thoroughly document all new features and maintain guides for workflows and best practices. 

• Champion knowledge sharing across the team to foster continuous improvement. 

What You Bring 

• Proficiency in programming and technical knowledge, particularly with any of PHP/C++/Python/JavaScript or TypeScript. 

• A strong foundation in solving complex mathematical and statistical problems. 

• A proactive, results-driven attitude with a passion for building innovative gaming experiences. 

• Bonus: A love for slot games or experience in casino gaming mechanics.
