Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and well-connected Project Manager to co-pioneer our publishing service initiatives. This role is critical to establishing the footprint of a new service in the China market. You will work with the regional team to build the service framework, navigate the complex licensing landscape, and cultivate vital partnerships. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with deep knowledge of China's and the international game publishing regulations and a passion for connecting great games with global audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

1、Service Establishment & Operation (30%)

*Support the Regional Director in designing, building, and operationalizing the end-to-end publishing service for international clients seeking to enter the China market.

*Develop standardized processes, service catalogs, and pricing models for publishing-related services.

为发行相关服务制定标准化流程、服务目录和定价模型。

2、Licensing & Government Relations (30%)

*Lead the effort to obtain game licensing and approvals from relevant Chinese government authorities (e.g., NPPA).

*Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with potential local publishing partners and regulatory bodies to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

*Stay abreast of all changes in China's game regulatory policies and advise internal teams and clients accordingly.

3、Business Development & Exploration (25%)

*Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities. Act as the publishing subject matter expert in pre-sales meetings and client pitches.

*Continuously explore and define new, value-added publishing services for the China market (e.g., live operations, community management, localized marketing support).

*Source and evaluate potential partners for various service catalogs needed for full-service publishing (e.g., payment gateways, server hosting, customer service).

4、Partner Management (15%)

*Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with key partners across the publishing value chain.

*Ensure all partnerships align with company standards for quality, cost, and reliability.

Requirements:
Skills & Experience Required

任职资格：

Essential:

1、Bachelor's degree or above with minimum of 5 years of experience in publishing role within the video game industry.

本科及以上学历，在游戏行业有至少5年发行相关经验。

2、Proven, established relationships with Chinese game publishers and a deep understanding of the China game licensing (ISBN) application process and regulations.

与中国游戏发行商有良好、稳定的关系，并深入了解中国游戏许可（ISBN）申请流程和法规。

3、Communication in both Mandarin and English.

精通普通话和英语。

4、A self-starter with the ability to operate strategically in a greenfield environment with minimal supervision.
