Position: Game Monetary/Economy Designer
Report to: Associate Producer
Department: Pre-production 3D SLG Game Team

Employment Terms:
Less than 1 year of relevant experience: Initial 3-month contract
1-3 years of relevant experience: Initial 1-year contract
More than 3 years of relevant experience: Permanent position

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the numerical design of combat/economy systems for SLG mobile games ( simulation & strategy Game).
Build numerical models and formulate designs based on game system rules, including formula derivation, table configuration and simulation verification.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to integrate economic systems seamlessly into the overall game design.
Monitor and analyze with key in-game data, including pricing in the store, development rhythm, and resource output and consumption. Analyze and Optimize Economic Models, making adjustments to enhance player engagement and monetization.
Other tasks assigned related to game development by the team.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in game design, with a focus on economic systems;
Gamer with sharp player insights: deep understanding of current gaming trends, player behaviors, and monetization strategies.
Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data science, Business Analytics or Computer Science preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and economic modeling, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. Strong understanding of game economies and player behavior analytics.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel for complex data modeling, familiarity with VBA or MATLAB is a plus.
Detail-oriented and strong execution skills.
Excellent teamwork and ability to perform well under pressure.
Legally eligible to work in Canada without any sponsorship from the employer at this time.
Experience with AI tools.
