We are looking for a highly organized and commercially aware professional to lead Gallery External Relations & Market Strategy, working closely with the Founder to strengthen external presence and drive structured growth.
This is an on-site role that blends research, gallery outreach, enquiry management, and digital platform oversight. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, founder-led creative environment and enjoys building systems, maintaining momentum, and ensuring consistent external communication.
While the Founder defines the final voice of all outward-facing communication, this role is responsible for building the structure, research, and execution behind it.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Gallery Research & Outreach
• Research and identify international galleries aligned with brand positioning
• Analyze gallery programs, pricing structures, and exhibition trends
• Prepare structured comparison reports, decks, and summaries
• Draft tailored outreach communication and manage follow-up cadence
• Maintain a disciplined communication and outreach tracker
Sales & Enquiry Management
• Manage inbound enquiries across channels (email, website, marketplaces, etc.)
• Draft responses and coordinate documentation including pricing, specifications, and edition details
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline (enquiry → proposal → closure)
• Conduct timely and professional follow-ups with prospective clients
• Escalate strategic or pricing-sensitive discussions to the Founder
Market Intelligence
• Track global trends in collectible design, gallery representation, and artist positioning
• Monitor pricing benchmarks and competitive landscape
• Research key design fairs, exhibitions, and industry movements
• Produce clear, structured insights to inform outreach strategy and product positioning
Digital & Platform Management
• Oversee marketplace listings (pricing, availability, and content updates)
• Coordinate updates across website and social media platforms
• Support external consultants with research inputs and content direction
• Ensure consistency in brand presentation across all channels
• Liaise with PR partners and maintain press documentation
Ideal Profile
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in galleries, design studios, or art/design fairs
• Strong written communication skills with international exposure
• Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing sales conversations in a gallery or creative context
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights clearly
• Genuine interest in contemporary design, craft, and collectible objects
• Ability to work closely with a Founder in a fast-paced, evolving environment
