This role is for an experienced Graphic and Motion Ad Designer based in the Philippines to join us initially as an independent contractor with a view to full-time permanent employment. We need someone who blends creative craft with data-driven thinking to create high-impact visual assets for paid social campaigns. In this role, you’ll design both static and motion ads tailored for performance—working closely with creative strategists to turn insights into scroll-stopping visuals across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.

You understand the mechanics of performance marketing and know how to balance visual storytelling with platform best practices. Whether it’s a direct response ad or a top-of-funnel brand piece, you approach each project with a focus on conversion, engagement, and creative innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Execution & Asset Development

• Design compelling static and motion ads optimized for performance across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
• Design AI-generated assets using tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, Grok, Sora, and VEO3, ensuring outputs match the brief, stay on brand, and are technically viable for post-production and platform delivery.
• Translate creative briefs and strategic insights into high-performing visuals that drive key metrics like CTR, Hook Rate, and CVR.
• Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing and ad iterations—tailoring concepts to different audiences, placements, and formats.
• Maintain a strong sense of visual hierarchy, pacing, and platform-native design across all assets.

Collaboration & Creative Ideation

• Partner with Creative Strategists and Paid Media Managers to bring data-backed creative concepts to life.
• Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative reviews—bringing fresh, relevant ideas rooted in cultural and platform trends.
• Ask the right questions to clarify briefs and uncover creative opportunities, ensuring every deliverable is purposeful and aligned.

Optimization & Performance Feedback Loop

• Regularly review performance data and creative test results—iterating on designs to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
• Collaborate with strategists and editors to refine visuals based on platform benchmarks and creative learnings.
• Stay on top of evolving ad formats, design standards, and performance trends—bringing a test-and-learn mindset to creative output.

Project Management & Delivery

• Manage multiple design projects across clients and verticals, delivering high-quality assets on time and within scope.
• Ensure all creative meets brand guidelines, platform specs, and quality control standards before handoff.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in performance-focused graphic and motion design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating paid social ad design across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to design and generate assets using AI tools like Midjourney, Nano Banana, Grok, Sora, and VEO3.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite—especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Experience using collaboration tools like Figma, Notion, Frame.io, and Monday.com is a plus.
• Solid understanding of creative performance metrics and how design impacts outcomes like CTR, CVR, and engagement.
• Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple timelines, and adapting to evolving creative direction.

Working Hours & Time Zone Overlap

• Remote role, based in the Philippines
• Engagement requires 36 to 40 hours/week
• Must maintain at least 5 hours/day overlap with Central European Time (CET/CEST)

Tools & Equipment Requirements (Independent Contractor Role)

As this is an independent contractor role, candidates are expected to provide and maintain their own laptop or desktop capable of handling professional video and motion design work

• Minimum specifications: 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
• Ability to run Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop simultaneously without performance issues
• Active Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, or the ability to obtain one, to support project delivery
