The Electronic Trading Solutions division is the functional and technological core of Global Markets Macro Products, overseeing the electronic business with a unique end-to-end vision . As the driving force behind our trading efficiency, we operate on the frontline of financial technology to ensure the competitiveness of our Sales and Trading desks. Our mission extends beyond daily support: we are key product specialists who define the strategy and implementation for high-impact projects, setting the future direction of electronic negotiation.

About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision and Strategy:

Define and coordinate the Product Vision and the Roadmap , ensuring they are aligned with the business strategy for interest rate product trading and distribution.

This includes bonds, swaps, inflation derivatives, volatility, cross-currency products, and their combinations, across both voice and electronic channels.

2. Product Backlog Management:

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fixed Income and IRD systems, understanding the needs of traders, the sales team (institutional and wholesale sales), while also considering End-to-End needs (Risk, Accounting, Regulation).

Monitor and maintain relationships with the venues and vendors that participate in the bond and derivatives markets, staying up-to-date with constant evolutions and product offerings, and incorporating these requirements into the strategy.

Be responsible for the management (creation, refinement, prioritization, and maintenance) of the Product Backlog for products and systems.

Write clear, concise User Stories with their respective Acceptance Criteria , paying special attention to the logic for pricing , order execution , risk management , and settlement of complex instruments such as interest rate swaps, cross-currencies, inflation swaps, cap/floors, swaptions, futures, and bonds.

Prioritize Backlog items to maximize the return on investment (ROI) , considering business value, regulatory urgency, and development effort.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

Establish close collaboration with the Trading and Sales desks , Platform Support , and Technology to understand and articulate their needs.

Facilitate communication between the Development Team and stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into understandable specifications and vice versa.

Organize quarterly budget requests for project execution.

Actively participate in agile ceremonies ( Planning, Review, Retrospective ), representing the voice of the customer and the business.

4. Value Validation and Delivery:

Validate the project team's deliverables at the end of each Sprint, ensuring they meet the defined Acceptance Criteria.

Ensure that the delivered product is high-quality, functionally accurate (especially in financial calculations), and ready for implementation in a live trading environment.

Define, measure, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the product (e.g., execution speed, pricing latency, regulatory compliance) to report on the value delivered and guide future priorities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Technical-Financial Knowledge:

Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role in the financial services sector.

Previous experience in similar transformation roles at other institutions.

At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of capital markets , with specific experience in Fixed Income (Sovereign Bonds) and Interest Rate Derivatives (Swaps, FRAs, Options, Futures).

Understanding of front-to-back trading processes , including pre-trade (pricing, risk analysis), execution (OMS/EMS, risk management), and post-trade (confirmation, settlement, regulatory reporting).

Familiarity with the main trading systems and market data providers (e.g., ION, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Refinitiv, Bondvision, LCH, EUREX, MTS, SENAF, CME, ICE, ….).

Fluent in Spanish and English.

Agile and Leadership Skills:

Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Excellent communication , negotiation , and influencing skills to interact with all levels of the organization.

Ability to make firm decisions , prioritize, and manage multiple conflicting interests.

Results-oriented mindset focused on the delivery of quantifiable business value.
