Your missions

Do you want to kickstart your career as Trader? Join our Banking Talent Academy for an exclusive internship!

For one month, you will get a full-time training about the Financial environment and Swissquote processes. You will pursue your internship (6 months in total) in our FX & DA Trading team as a Trading Intern.

You will work closely with Traders and Quants and dive into world of coding & trading:

• Learn the essence of market making, internalization, and liquidity production.
• Learn how Liquidity is distributed and sourced optimally.
• Learn how these processes are executed with automated systems and oversight of Traders.
• Support Quants in producing weekly/monthly statistics & reports and ad-hoc analytics to produce the gem of our production process: information.
• Support Traders to utilize such information to take decisions to improve our service to clients and the profitability of the bank.
• Support Traders in their day to day activity to ensure orderly and profitable operations.
• Learn from and support the Quants in their research topics that prepare the ground for future success.

• Completed or about to complete a Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Good coding skills: proficiency in Python. 
• Fluent in English, any additional language would be an asset.
• Humble and hungry to learn!

About the FX & DA Trading team

The FX & DA Trading department oversees the execution and liquidity production process in FX, Precious Metals, Digital Assets, and Macros Futures. The department consists of 3 teams with a functional focus: Spot, STIR, and Execution. The department is focusing on the design and operation of electronic trading systems with the mission to provide an excellent execution service to clients and to monitor risk, liquidity, flow and execution management systems.
