Job Overview:
HireQuest Direct is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for an ongoing furniture
moving and installation project located at the Bremerton Naval Base. Workers will assist
with unloading, transporting, and installing furniture on commercial and government job
sites. This position requires the ability to lift heavy materials, navigate stairs, and work both
indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on physical work, want
consistent weekly pay, and are able to meet all requirements for working on a secured
military installation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Move, load, and unload furniture and materials weighing up to 60 lbs
Carry furniture up stairs, down hallways, and into designated areas on job sites
Assist with assembling and installing furniture as directed by site supervisors
Follow all on-site safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings
Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily goals
Maintain professionalism while working on a federal installation
Ensure all PPE is worn correctly throughout the shift
Requirements:
PHYSICAL
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 60 lbs repeatedly
Ability to work on stairs, uneven ground, and active construction areas
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
PPE REQUIRED
Hard hat
Safety vest
Work boots
Gloves
Safety glasses (if required on specific tasks)
Workers must report to the job equipped with full PPE daily.
Bremerton Naval Base Access Requirements
To work on this project, all workers must be eligible to enter the Bremerton Naval Base.
Starting May 7, 2025, the REAL ID Act requirements will be enforced for base access.
You must provide one of the following acceptable forms of identification:
Acceptable Identification for Base Access:
REAL ID–compliant driver’s license
U.S. passport or passport card
Military ID (CAC, retired military ID, etc.)
Permanent resident card (Green Card)
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL)
Any other DHS-approved identification

Workers without an acceptable form of ID will not be allowed entry onto the base and
cannot be assigned to this project.
