Greenstone Equity Partners is expanding its Korea coverage and is seeking a Korean/English bilingual Funds Registration & Regulatory Relations Specialist to support the registration and ongoing maintenance of investment funds with Korean regulators. This role is ideal for someone who understands Korea’s regulatory landscape, builds strong relationships, and can bridge communication across global teams.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Fund Registration
• Manage end-to-end fund registration with Korean regulators (FSC, FSS).
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation.
• Track regulatory changes and ensure full compliance.
Regulator & Stakeholder Relationships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory officials and industry bodies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Korean regulatory interactions.
• Represent Greenstone in meetings and regulatory discussions.
Cross-Border Coordination
• Partner with global fund managers, legal, and compliance teams.
• Translate and explain regulatory expectations between Korean-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders.
Compliance & Reporting
• Maintain ongoing compliance with Korean fund regulations.
• Keep accurate records of filings and regulatory interactions.
• Support internal audits and periodic reporting.
🎯 Ideal Candidate
• Native or fluent Korean speaker; excellent written and spoken English.
• 3–7+ years in fund registration, regulatory affairs, asset management compliance, or similar roles in Korea.
• Strong knowledge of Korean financial regulations relating to investment funds.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business, or related field (advanced degrees a plus).
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with regulators.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
