Job Summary: The Funding and Portfolio Operations Officer is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and oversight of loans in B:Side’s portfolio. This role is instrumental in supporting compliance, documentation, and following our programs administrative guidelines and requirements. Providing excellent customer service to all borrowers, lending partners and key stakeholders is a primary function of the role . The Funding and Portfolio Operations Officer has general knowledge of B:Side’s loan programs. A successful member of this team inspires enthusiasm, is self-aware, shows initiative, and is a strong elite team player.
Major Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Management of incoming funding and portfolio related inquiries, delegation to loan officers, and escalation of complex requests;
Completion of prepayment process for all loan programs;
Oversight of the property tax verification process in compliance with our policies and procedures, including notifying loan officers of past due and unpaid property tax;
Provide loan information to borrowers including payment histories, interest statements and loan documents across all loan programs;
Release of Deed of Trust process;
Execute Third Party Lender interim Deed release in tandem with the funding process policy;
Support preparation and submission of liquidations reimbursements to the SBA;
ACH changes;
Gather and input job creation data for all loan programs;
Manage ticklers and gather annual documents required for compliance and our risk rating process including; financials statements, property tax, and tax returns in compliance with program policies;
Process UCC continuations and compliance with our policies and procedures;
Payoff file management for all B:Side loan programs;
Assist with the closing process, including printing and notarizing closing documents;
Assist with the funding process, including file preparation, pre- and post-funding tasks, including Ventures file uploads and physically shipping files to the SBA, and funding alerts;
Regular and predictable attendance;
Supporting monthly reporting requirements;
Able to manage a deadline-driven environment;
Reports as needed;
Projects as needed;
Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required
Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience within a related field
Organizational Relationships:
Supervision Received: Reports directly to Funding and Portfolio Director
Supervision Provided: None at this time.
Work Environment:
Primary Work Location: The B:Side Capital Corporate headquarters are located in Denver, Colorado and this specific role will be required to be in office two days a week.
