The Fund Accounting Head (VP) will be responsible for ensuring State Street delivers high-quality, accurate, and timely Fund Accounting services through strong operational oversight, governance, and leadership. This role is critical in unifying service delivery across all aspects of fund accounting operations, including NAV production, financial reporting, and client servicing, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
What you will be responsible for:
1. Service Delivery & Operations
• Oversee Fund Accounting (FA) service delivery to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with quality standards
• Supervise NAV calculation, reconciliations, valuation, financial reporting, and related accounting processes
2. Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure implementation and adherence to company policies, internal controls, and risk management requirements
• Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and global standards, and support internal and external audits
3. Management & Reporting
• Report on Taiwan FA operations, risk exposures, and key issues to regional and global management
4. People Management
• Lead and manage the Fund Accounting team, including workforce planning, performance management, and talent development
• Ensure the team has the capability and capacity to support both BAU operations and new business initiatives
5. Projects & Stakeholder Management
• Lead or participate in FA and other related projects, process improvements, and system initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Extensive experience in Fund Accounting or Fund Administration (typically 15+ years)
• Proven managerial and leadership experience
