We're looking for an organized and enthusiastic Functional Training Specialist to help drive our employee learning initiatives specifically within the Nielsen Contact Center. This role is crucial for delivering engaging training sessions, creating clear instructional materials, and supporting Contact Center employees in achieving their learning objectives. You will execute mostly straightforward assignments, relying on established guidelines while building foundational knowledge in the Learning & Development field.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Training Sessions: Facilitate and conduct training sessions for Contact Center employees on various topics using established materials and formats.

• Develop Instructional Content: Assist in creating, editing, and maintaining training materials, documentation, presentations, and job aids to ensure content is accurate and engaging for the Contact Center environment.

• Support Employee Learning: Track training attendance and completion, manage simple training logistics, and answer basic learner questions related to training.

• Process Adherence: Execute assignments by following prescribed guidelines and established procedures to effectively resolve problems and ensure consistency in training delivery across the Contact Center.

• Build Expertise: Actively seek to build knowledge within the area of expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of Contact Center training programs.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

• Leadership Roles (where training or mentorship was a key component)

• Delivering Training or instruction

• Skills:

• Excellent English Skills (written and verbal communication is essential).

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Highly organized with attention to detail.

• Ability to follow established processes and guidelines.

• Work Environment: This is an in-office role, requiring daily attendance at the Nielsen Contact Center facility.
