At Finsolutia, we’re looking for a Functional Tester to join our growing Product Team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our innovative mortgage brokerage platform.

This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in technology who enjoys ensuring that every feature released works flawlessly for our users. You’ll play a key role in testing new functionalities, validating bug fixes, and improving the overall user experience of our AI-powered SaaS solution used by mortgage professionals across Portugal and Spain.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform manual functional testing of core platform features and new releases.
• Verify and validate bug fixes delivered by the development team.
• Create, update, and execute test cases and regression test checklists.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure all acceptance criteria are met.
• Document test results, report issues clearly, and follow up on their resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process and test coverage.
• Support release validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).

What Do We Expect From You?

Fluency in Portuguese (PT), at native level.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in software testing, QA, or related roles.
• Good understanding of functional and regression testing practices.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Bonus Points

Fluency in Spanish and English, verbal and written.
• Experience using tools such Notion or Confluence for test documentation.
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g. Postman) or basic automation frameworks.
• Experience with SaaS or fintech products, especially in the mortgage or financial sector.
