We’re looking for a Functional Tester to join a Test Engineering team within an international banking environment and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products. You’ll be part of a project squad, driving testing activities from strategy to execution.

What You’ll Do:

• Define, promote, and uphold best practices in software testing
• Build test plans and contribute to test strategy development
• Design and prepare manual and automated test cases
• Execute test scenarios (manual and/or automated)
• Report defects, follow up on fixes, and ensure successful test closure

What You Bring:

Technical Background

• Degree in IT, Systems Analysis, Development or similar
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks

Soft Skills

• Clear and effective communication
• Team‑oriented mindset
• Strong problem‑solving approach
• Good time‑management skills
• Ability to negotiate and influence when needed

Languages

• Portuguese: Advanced
• English: Fluent

(Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in LISBON per week)
