Job Description

Fusion Consulting is looking for an experienced Functional Data Owner – FI to serve as the global focal point for their assigned data objects in scope for migration. In this role, you will collaborate closely with all key stakeholders, including Global Template BDOs, Functional Streams, Data Migration Developers, and Legacy System Experts, to ensure the accurate preparation, validation, and migration of critical financial accounting data.

What you will be doing:

• Collect the functional specification for data migration tools.
• Provide test data sets for migration tool testing and validation.
• Provide guidance on SAP ECC standard extractions (where applicable).
• Own global templates/scripts e.g. FSs (DDT), SATs, DVSs, etc. for their objects incl. the content such as validation and verification approach, authorizations.
• Review and approve SAT testing of DM tools.
• Provide guidance to business teams on data readiness/cleansing based on technical requirements.
• Review and confirm testing of defect resolutions related to the design of global template data migration tools.
• Knowledge transfers to deployment/local Functional Data Owners per their objects

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Financial Accounting (FI) experience.
• Proven data migration experience in large-scale or global SAP programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data models, especially within the FI module.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams in a global template environment.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
