Fumigation and Pest control Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced proactive and detail-oriented Fumigation and Pest Control Supervisor to support our team at SGS . The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating Supervisory tasks, and leading the team.

Job Purpose To ensure effective pest management and hygiene standards across cargo terminals, warehouses, and associated facilities through safe, compliant, and efficient fumigation / pest control practices. The role is responsible for conducting inspections, applying treatments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and scheduled fumigation / pest control treatments across cargo areas, storage facilities, and warehouses. Identify pest infestation types, levels, and sources, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Safely handle and apply pesticides, rodenticides, and other control substances in compliance with health and safety regulations. Inspect facilities to detect early signs of pest activity and potential risk areas. Maintain accurate records of treatments, chemicals used, and pest activity logs. Ensure all pest control equipment and materials are properly stored, maintained, and calibrated. Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with local municipality, environmental, and port health authority requirements. Report major infestations, recurring issues, or structural deficiencies that may cause pest problems. Promote awareness of pest prevention practices among warehouse and cargo handling staff.

Relevant Degree or equivalent as stipulated by Dubai Municipality. Holding appropriate valid card / permit issued by Dubai Municipality to perform the service for Fumigation, Pest Control and Termite control. 3–5 years of experience in pest management, preferably within cargo terminals, ports, or industrial warehouses. Knowledge of safe chemical handling, occupational health, and environmental standards. Strong observation and attention to detail. Ability to identify pest species and recommend suitable treatment methods. Knowledge of cargo and warehouse environments. Good communication and reporting skills. Commitment to safety, hygiene, and environmental protection. Physically fit and able to work in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined areas).

Working Conditions Field-based role requiring mobility across multiple warehouse and cargo facilities. Exposure to chemicals, outdoor environments, and operational noise (with appropriate PPE provided).
