Job Purpose
We are seeking full-time Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSW) to join our team. The position offers opportunities to work in an outpatient facility. The dual diagnosis Mental Health Clinician will work closely with the Clinical Director to manage their caseload. This role involves providing counseling services to clients with substance abuse and mental health issues. Key responsibilities include coordinating community resources and referrals, supporting clients' adjustment to community life after incarceration, encouraging cognitive-behavioral changes, and conducting diagnoses and risk assessments. Regular communication with the client's assigned supervising officer is essential to provide therapeutic recommendations for further treatment.

Full–Time Employee Salary Annual Range: $30.00 - $40.00
Core Job Responsibilities
Complete intake assessments and diagnoses.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
Communicate regularly with United States Probation/Pretrial Officers.
Utilize computer applications for clinical documentation.
Develop initial and updated treatment plans quarterly.
Complete assessment and diagnosis reports, and monthly treatment and discharge summaries.
Attend training sessions, staff development programs, and other in-service training as directed by management.
Essential Requirements
Master’s Degree
Valid State of California – AMFT, ACSW
At least one year of counseling experience
One year of experience in Substance Abuse Counseling (preferred)
One year of experience in Behavioral Health Counseling (preferred)
Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Modality and Approach
Detail-oriented, team player with strong organizational skills, enthusiasm for learning, adaptability to new policies and procedures, and strong communication skills
Proficient in maintaining professional boundaries
Schedule
Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, evenings, and weekend shifts available
Expected hours per week: 40
