We're hiring a Fullstack Product Engineer to help scale Paxos Labs's onchain product capabilities.

Who we're looking for

The team at Paxos Labs builds DeFi infrastructure that simplifies the ability for users on and off-chain to access on-chain financial rails. We work with global distribution partners to bring the best (and safest) products that DeFi has to offer to the largest financial enterprises.

We believe that the future of DeFi lies in providing global access to the most common sense and powerful primitives in on-chain markets in a sleek and DevX-friendly manner.

We are looking for a motivated developer that can not only develop, but aptly research and deploy extensive knowledge across DeFi and product design to create a product that makes sense for real users.

Most importantly, we are looking for developers with interests in the following:

• DeFi Primitive UX

• Crosschain UX

• DeFi Wallet UX

• Product Design and Engineering

Responsibilities

• SDK/API Development

• Build APIs and SDK to allow developers to integrate our onchain infrastructure into enterprise platforms.

• Research and integrate smart contract transactions.

• Maintain a secure open source repo, and constantly iterate on our DevX.

• Fullstack Development

• Collaborate with designers on Figma to create prototypes.

• Rapidly iterate the code based on feedback, across frontend and backend code.

• EVM Development

• Stay up to date on Core Ethereum upgrades that change wallet and developer UX.

• Reimagine how non-crypto-native developers will onboard to the EVM through our Paxos Labs developer kit.

• Reliability

• Maintain the highest standards in liveness SLOs and observability.

• Work closely with our security engineer to safeguard developers and users from exploits.

Qualifications

Knowledge

Contextual

• Deep Knowledge with building EVM dapps.

• Deep Knowledge with developer-facing SDK and API development.

• Familiarity with popular web3 apps such as Uniswap, Aave, Morpho, Pendle, etc. to compare the UX across the DeFi ecosystem.

• Familiarity with cross-chain UX—Account Abstraction, crosschain bridges, etc.

• Familiarity with Solidity, being able to read contracts and understand functionalities.

• Familiarity with financial math, analysis, and the ability to communicate quantitative information to users.

Technical

• Ethereum SDKs—ethers, viem, wagmi, rainbowkit.

• Databases—Postgres, SQL, no SQL,

• SDK/API Design—building intuitive APIs for internal and external use.

• React, Redux, Next.js, or other similar typescript frameworks.

• CSS frameworks—material UI, tailwind css, etc.

• DevOps and CI/CD—Vercel, heroku, etc.

Experience

• Experience maintaining SaaS SDK/APIs at scale.

• Experience working directly with clients to provide technical support and engineer solutions.

Location

We are a heavily in-person team working in New York City. We prize effective in-person coordination that allows us to move fast. We also consider remote work on a case by case basis.
