We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the OTT Live team at Axel Springer National Media & Tech. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the core services that power live streaming for major media brands like BILD and WELT. We focus on delivering robust, high-availability solutions for live events, FAST channels, and monetization through server-side ad insertion. If you're a hands-on engineer with significant professional experience and a strong background in DevOps, agile methodologies, and multiple programming languages, we'd love to hear from you.

Tech Stack: Golang, Dart, Python, Java, Flutter, Dart, Cucumber, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, FluxCD, Terraform, AWS, Prometheus, Grafana

• Design, build, test, deploy and operate production services end to end in an agile, self-managed, product-focused team
• Within our microservice ecosystem, you develop and evolve new services that are observable, resilient and horizontally scalable
• You raise the quality bar by writing lean, well-tested code (unit, integration, acceptance) and apply BDD where it adds value
• Through automation, you codify infrastructure and delivery using GitOps and CI / CD to increase speed with the right guardrails
• You keep production healthy by instrumenting metrics, logs and traces while turning incidents into learning opportunities

• Significant professional experience in delivering software to production
• In one or two areas such as backend, data, observability or cloud, you bring deep expertise and connect dots across the stack
• Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation, testing and operations
• Experience in at least two of the following: Agile / Lean, BDD, DevOps / GitOps, multiple programming languages or Flutter / UI development
• A pragmatic mindset, enabling you to learn fast and choose the right tool for the job
