About the Role

As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to building scalable web and mobile applications while providing strategic consulting to our clients. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, bringing a solution-focused mindset to complex challenges. In this role, you will design and implement robust architectures using SOA and microservices, leveraging a modern tech stack centered on Python and AWS.

Beyond coding, you will act as a trusted advisor, engaging with clients to drive digital transformation—particularly within the Life Sciences sector. You will operate in a DevOps culture, championing automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery to ensure high-quality, high-performance outcomes. You will work in a cross-functional environment, managing competing priorities and setting the standard for code quality and security.

What we are looking for

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development, with a preference for backgrounds in consulting and the Life Sciences industry.

• Cloud Architecture: Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS, Pinpoint, Cognito) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. AWS Certification is an asset.

• Backend Mastery: Strong expertise in Python (2.x/3.x) development, with a focus on designing and implementing SOA, Microservices, and robust REST APIs.

• Containerization: Proven experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Data Proficiency: Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and Snowflake data warehousing.

• Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular.

• Quality & DevOps: Experience operating in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools (GitHub, Travis CI), performing TDD/integration testing (pytest), and utilizing monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Agile Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban) and a commitment to continuous delivery.
