DESCRIPTION

At sg tech we are looking for a AI-Native Full Stack / Developer Experience Engineer responsible for designing and delivering next-generation developer experiences for the Global BaaS platform. The role owns developer portals, SDKs, sandbox environments, and AI-driven documentation and support agents.

Mid–senior profile with strong front-end and API DevEx expertise. AI experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities
Developer Portals & Frontend
Build and maintain API developer portals using Apigee Developer Portal, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Implement developer-facing features: SDK generation (multi-language), semantic API discovery, usage analytics, and API monetization support (metering hooks).
Implement front-end tools for SLA tracking, developer telemetry, and visualization of API workflows.
Sandbox, Testing & Documentation
Own sandbox and testing environments (Postman collections, contract tests) for external partners and internal teams.
Automate documentation and changelog generation with LLM-assisted tools; own versioning and validation of docs.
Conversational Support & Developer Tools
Provide conversational developer support (ChatOps) via ChatGPT Enterprise-backed agents, integrated into the portal and Slack.
Collaborate with Platform (Global BaaS) for gateway integrations and Backend Leads for sample apps and domain examples.
DevEx Operations
Maintain CI/CD for DevEx services and ensure observability (Prometheus, Datadog).

AI-related responsibilities are optional and can be acquired during onboarding.

Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript

Backend: Node.js (NestJS/Express), Python (FastAPI)

API Management & Portal: Apigee Developer Portal

Testing & Sandbox: Postman, Pact, JMeter, K6

Observability: Prometheus, ELK, Datadog

CI/CD & IaC: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform

AI Tools: ChatGPT Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI/Azure AI for doc automation

Security: OAuth 2.1, OIDC, mTLS where applicable

AI-native components (semantic search, LLM agents, automation) are desirable but not mandatory.

AI-Native & DX Practices
Use LLM-based generation for docs, changelogs, SDKs, and example code; enforce review gates.
Provide semantic search (vector DB-backed) in the portal for API discovery.
Offer a conversational assistant with governed LLMOps practices and audit logging.

AI requirements can be acquired during onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Experience with Apigee Developer Portal and API SDK generation.
Familiarity with OpenAPI 3.1, contract testing, and sandbox management.
Experience integrating LLM-based documentation tooling and ChatOps assistants.

Solid front-end and API DevEx fundamentals are prioritized over AI expertise.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with semantic search, vector stores, and conversational AI for developer support.
Familiarity with Camunda or Apache Camel for orchestrating developer tooling workflows.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (tested).

AI-related experience is optional; not a blocker.
