Position Overview

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service across all aspects of the sales floor — including greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, styling, cash wrap, restocking, and overall shopkeeping. This role is integral to maintaining our store as a premier retail destination and delivering a best-in-class client experience that reflects the Tuckernuck brand. This is a seasonal position from May to October. Housing is not provided. 

Core Responsibilities

Be a brand ambassador – our team of stylists are the face of Tuckernuck. Must ensure brand integrity while upholding our core values and delivering the highest level of service.

Contribute to a proactive selling culture that focuses on building genuine, long-term relationships. Maintain awareness and involvement with top customers.

Support the store team by achieving and exceeding financial goals and build multiple revenue streams through walk-in traffic, clienteling, and event-generated business. 

Be a customer service champion. Ensure exemplary customer service and exceed expectations at all opportunities.

Have a passion for the Tuckernuck brand and our offerings through detail-oriented product knowledge.

Maintain an understanding of current market and national trends to offer insightful suggestions. Provide honest, insightful feedback to customers.

Ensure operational integrity in daily routines and best practices in the store to support both our team and our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 3 years of retail or other relevant work/life experience

Flexibility- willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Passion for the Tuckernuck brand

Customer service champion; passionate about developing client relationships

Stellar problem-solving skills

Proactive nature. See something’s not working? Do some brainstorming and help fix it

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation 

Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $25-28 per hour; classified as full-time non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
