Activities Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Activities Director in planning and leading engaging individual and group activities

Provide activities that support physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being

Adapt activities to meet the needs of all residents, including Memory Care and room-bound residents

Encourage resident participation while honoring preferences and independence

Document resident participation and responses accurately

Ensure residents are hydrated and receive snacks as scheduled

Assist with activities during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Follow community safety, confidentiality, and emergency procedures

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older

Cheerful, patient, and enjoys working with seniors

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Available to work weekends and holidays

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required

CPR and First Aid certification required

Experience in Memory Care preferred

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass background check, health screening, and drug test

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced care environment
