Position Summary: Medical Assistant in a busy Urgent Care clinic.
Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations along with providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Job Functions: Full Time Medical Assistant- Three 12-hour shifts days a week, must be able to work evenings, weekends and Holidays.
Obtain vital signs, taking blood pressure, weight, and temp, brief history, medication review, and review of system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Accompanies provider into visit and create clinic note.
Maintains patient records and other information.
Set up and assist with procedures.
Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment.
Hours may vary weekly, typically three 12-hour shifts.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant.
Family Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred.
Bilingual-Spanish preferred.
